Halloween

Here is a project that i did for the cmb swap for Halloween.. It is just amazing what you can do with empty containers.  The outside canister is a baby formula can and the inside contain is actually two baked bean cans.  You know us scraper's we don't like to throw anything away.. which is beginning to driver my husband crazy as he is the one that has to figure out how to make the things work that I want.

This project actually spins.  The whole project was done using the Graphic 45 Halloween pack. It has so many different and cute papers in it that it was really hard to choose which to use.  I think the Moon pages worked out great on the side as when you turn it the moon shows up in the different windows.  You can also add pictures of your own to the inside so that you have a spinning mini album.  The fence just adds that little extra touch with all the little goodies on it.

So i hope that you enjoy and can stop and think what can I make with this the next time you empty a can.

Steampunk Train

Ok here is a picture of a project that I recently did for a swap on the CMB.  The suggestion was made that my partner wanted something steampunk baby boy.  So here it is.  Sorry I only have this picture as I somehow deleted all the pictures I took of it.. I am so bad about pictures. But this was made using Graphic 45 Little Darlings paper pack and it is such a fun pack to use.

The body of the train is made from a cardboard wine tube and the cab of the train is a wooden box that is covered and you are able to add your own pictures to it.  There is also room in the box to add little things that you might want to keep there.  This was such a fun project to do that I am thinking of making a Christmas version.. Please let me know what you all think

Thanks

Here is a project that I recently did for a friend on a swap on facebook.  This is a real book that i picked up at a yard sale and then glued the pages together and the cut the middle out of the pages.  I then covered the book with designer pages from the G45 line of Olde Curiosity Shoppe pack. added some old lace that i inked and made this into a keepsake book for her.  Hope you like this.

Ok here are a few pictures of some items that I have recently made for a friend on the cmb. The cube has slots for 4 different pictures and somewhere to hide things inside.. The mason jar has a tea light in the top. The cards are for birthdays for someone who likes the vintage or steampunk look. Just trying something different.

Thanks for looking.

OK here is an idea for your old shoes that you don't know what to do with.. If you are like me there are some that I have and can not wear any longer but did not wear that much to start with.. I am not really a dress up person so I have dress shoes from a long way back.. That this might be a better use for them instead of taking up closet space or if you don't have the right one garage sales are a great place to find them.. Let me know what you think..Thanks

Here is a project that i did for a swap.  It is a picnic basket mini album.  The pattern is from Laura Dennison of Following the Paper Trail. This is picture heavy so please take a look and let me know what you think..

This is a really fun project to do and there are a lot of places to put pictures and journaling.  I did not take the picture of the tags but each page has a pocket with a tag in it that you can add pictures to.

French Country Tags

Ok here is a couple pictures of a tag that I did for a swap on Following the Paper Trail.. I have never done a swap on her site and I hope that mine are up to the standards.

I picked the subject of French Country and then used the DCWV new French Country stack which is a really great pad of paper.. On the back of the tag I added the little pocket that you could add a gift card to the tag.

Thanks for looking.

Mini Album

Happy Easter everyone.. Here is something that i have been working on and finished up today.  It is a mini album that is made from #10 envelopes.  I found this on you tube by Laura Dennison and it is so much fun to do.  There are lots of places for pictures, journal spots and also all the tags makes it a very nice album to do. The flower on the front is one of my new addictions. It is made from burlap.
 Hope you like it..

NEW CRAFT SPACE

ok ladies for anyone who wants to see it while it is still clean.. here are pictures of my new craft space that we did over the weekend.. It is going to be so nice to be upstairs and have windows to see out of.. I have to thank my wonderful husband for giving up his special room.. This room was where he always watched TV.

So I now have a 13 foot counter to work off of and a lot of drawers for paper storage and my floating island with peg board on the back.. this was something that was being thrown away and i am so glad he found it..works great to hold my cuttlebug, cinch and various other items.. a large cabinet that i am not so sure i like but will do for now until i can find something different and a small table that i have my paper pads on for now.. i am sure i will be running out of room shortly.. I do not have all of my extras here but i still have them in the old room in the basement so i can use that as my storage room..
